Smashing Life (for once you’re married)
Menu

  • You’ve picked a venue and you and your partner have worked out what's important to you and what kind of wedding you want, BUT you still may be dealing with conflicting opinions from different sides of the family (we're Jewish... right?!)

  • You've nailed your mission statement, guest numbers and budget and you've chosen your dream venue... YAS!

  • Now you need to confirm the date with your rabbi, book the venue, start researching and confirming key vendors (i.e. vendors  that are most important to you / those that get booked up quickly)

You’ve secured your venue and that generally means you now have your wedding date too which is so exciting! Now everything starts to get real…

Here’s what you need to focus on once you’ve found a venue (I’ve done all the thinking so that you don’t need to!) but as always, if you have any questions, ask me inside the Facebook group and I’ll get them answered!

Action steps once you’ve found a venue

  • If overwhelm starts to creep in, go back to this video, it will get you right back on track.

  • Choose your Rabbi / celebrant, and ensure he / she is available to officiate on your chosen date, confirm your venue, and send out Save The Dates

  • Start researching caterers  (ask me in the Facebook group if you want my personal recommendations and don’t forget to check out all these vendors offering discounts and gifts for Club members only)

  • Research and book your three most important vendors (watching this video to work out what to look for is a MUST!). Ask me in the Facebook group if you want my personal recommendations and don’t forget to check out all these vendors offering discounts and gifts for Club members only.

  • Start looking for your dress (ask me in the Facebook group if you want my personal recommendations and don’t forget to check out all these vendors offering discounts and gifts for Club members only)

  • Decide who you want in your wedding party and get proposing to them!

  • Get screened for Jewish genetic carrier screening if you are planning to start a family (Find out more about genetic screening here, then go here and use code 'JscreenAtHome' for $18 discount). If you’re in the UK click here.

Got any questions on your action steps? Tag me inside the Facebook group and I’ll get them answered!
